The Lighthouse Care Centres began in 1997 as a drop in centre for youth with life controlling habits. Over the past 10 years it has vastly expanded in various directions as God has led and provided for various ventures.

• We provide interim foster homes which are safe, family homes for children whom social welfare has referred to us as double orphans, affected or infected with HIV and AIDS.
• We provide a strong, tough love, home based enviroment for youth breaking free of life controlling habits in our Teen Challenge program at Emafini.
• We provide a one year gap, lifeskills program for disadvantaged youth in Bulembu at Teen Challenge Life Skills School.
• We reach out to youth in schools and churches to teach of the privilege of choices and the consequences of poor choices.
• We believe in church planting.
