The Metheula homestead is led by Mandla and Noktula Metheula. We first met Mandla and Noktula when Mandla helped us with the Lighthouse choir. Mandla was a teacher and a pastor.

The home they take charge of is part of a 5 bedroom house and was completed at the end of 2006. It is currently the largest unit on the farm with 9 children. The children's names are: Thandeka, Hloniphile, Juddy, Mcobi, Banele, Sanele, Tando, Sihlangu and Swakhile.

All the children attend Hawane Primary School. It’s a brusque walk there, about 4 kilometers one way across interesting and rugged terrain, which in the winter is really cold.

Mandla and Noktula have had to face some major challenges in the setting up of this home. The children are all from the same homestead and faced some really hard, tragic circumstances.

The home, both units, were paid for by Elim Foursquare Church.
